1 Year BABY!

July 29th will be our 1 year anniversary and Ty just happens to be working so we took an early weekend Trip to celebrate our wonderful year together. We left on Thursday and drove to Cheyenne, first we found a hotel then drove around Cheyenne, because neither of us had been there. It took us awhile to find our way around but it was fun to see what our State's Capital is like. Then we went back to the hotel, sat in the hot tub and tried to teach Ty to swim in the pool. Then we had to get some Ice Cream before we went to bed. In the morning we had to stop and a Western Store before we left to get Ty a hat that he has wanted to get for a long time.
His Hat! he wore it everywhere

Waiting at Chili's
Then we were off to Denver, then once we got there I'm pretty sure we went shopping at every store possible. Which was pretty fun we were able to get somethings for our house, sometimes I wish we had more shopping places in Rock Springs so we wouldn't go crazy when we went to a bigger City but its also fun to have a shopping spree day. We had Chili's for dinner and of course we had the Chocolate Molton Cake.

Then came the Main Event, the total reason why we went to Denver in the first place. The Brothers of the Sun tour with Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Jake Owen and Grace Potter at the Sports Authority Mile High Stadium. Lets just say my Husband Loves me so much to let me pick what we did for our 1st year anniversary!
Ready to Go!
We started out the day by going to a few stores than going back to the hotel so we would have plenty to time to get ready for the concert. Our hotel told us the day  before that they would provide a shuttle for us so we wouldn't have to worry about parking at the time it sounded like a wonderful idea.We signed up for the shuttle at 3 because the concert started at 4:30 what we didn't know is that so did half of the people staying at the hotel. The cleaning ladies showed up at our room at 2:20 and we both were ready so we decided just to go wait down in the lobby. In the mean time we got a call from the Hotel manager asking us why we didn't check out. I booked our reservations for 2 nights but some how it got mixed up and they only had a us down for one night. So while we are trying to figure out what went wrong and not being able to get back in our room because they changed the locks its getting closer and closer to 3 the time we need to get on the shuttle. The manager finally told us he would figure it out and we could go wait for the shuttle. Surprisingly we were one of the first ones there waiting for the shuttle. One 15 passenger van comes and we were the cut of point so we didn't get on. Only to find out he was the only shuttle at the time and we would have to wait til he got back. More and more people were showing up and Ty and I were nervous. We didnt want to get in our car and drive over there because we knew it would be impossible to find a parking space but waiting around for a ride that could take hours just seemed unbearable. 30+mins. after the first shuttle showed up another one came luckily it stopped right in front of me and we were the first ones to get on. It was just unwanted stress before the concert that we didn't want. But as soon as I got there all my worries went away and pure excitement took over.
Mile High
So Happy to be There!
Ready for the Best Concert Ever!
Lets just say saying it was hot would be an understatement we never stopped sweating from the time we got there til the time we got back in the Hotel but Surprisingly I didn't get burnt.  When we got into the Stadium first we found out seats which were on the first balcony straight in front of the stage. Really good seats in my opinion.
Its huge!
Waiting for it to Start!
We didn't want to stay in the sun for 45mins before it started so we went and explored around the stadium. Then I had the wonderful Idea that we should buy pizza before the concert started then we could eat it during the concert and we wouldn't have to worry about long lines. Little did we know that a $6 personal pan pizza would taste like cardboard with sauce and fake cheese. I also lost my teal sunglasses...so sad.
Finally the concert Started with Jake Owen which was a wonderful bonus because we didn't even know he was performing until we heard it on the radio. He was really good I wish he could of performed longer but it was super fun to watch.
Jake Owen!
Then after Jake Owen, Grace Potter and her band Performed (she sings with Kenny Chesney in You and Tequila) She really has a beautiful voice but they were more of a rock band and not really our style but they were okay. Then Came the moment I had been waiting for Tim McGraw!!!!!!!! He simply walked out on the stage and started out his performance in a wonderful way. He sang a song dedicated to the victims and their family from the Movie Theater Massacre which happened just a few nights before the concert. He sang his new songs and lots of his old songs and I had a wonderful time. Then it was time for Kenny Chesney and he popped out in the middle of the stadium. I forgot how much I love Kenny Chesney too. His old songs are my favorite. Lets just say I was dancing around and screaming and Ty just stood by me haha but he had fun too.

Tim McGraw
Kenny Chesney, Payton Manning, and the Broncos Coach Before Kenny sang the song the Boys of Fall Payton Manning the the Broncos Coach Came out and Signed a Broncos Helmet. Then Kenny gave it to a little girl it was pretty cool.

Waiting for Kenny Chesney!

Aww So Cute! :)
After Kenny Chesney left then came back for his encore I got a little disappointed because he didn't sing, She Thinks my Tractor's Sexy and because Tim didn't come back on stage to sing Feel Like a Rock Star. But then the band started playing Feel like a Rock Star I got Really excited. I saw Kenny but no Tim. But then Tim popped up in the middle of stadium I got so excited. After the song She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy starts, Tim is still on the stage. They Sing my favorite song of all time together it was the best part of the concert for sure! Pretty much a dream come true haha! It was a wonderful concert to be at we had so much fun. It was Ty's first Major concert, he didn't realize how loud it could get. We both couldn't hear very well for a few hours after.
So after the concert we of course had to wait awhile for the shuttle but finally we got back to the hotel and realized we were starving but couldn't think of a place that would be still open then we thought of Dominos because we needed to taste some good pizza after that awful cardboard we had earlier. and halleluiah they were open and and deliver to our hotel.
Over all it was a wonderful trip and I am so grateful Ty is my Best Friend, its always an adventure and something new every time we are together. I love him so Much and I cant believe it has been a year already!
Love Him ;)

Camo Gun

Ty's project!
Ty's 223 Before
This is the way Ty bought his gun but he decided to change it just a little. Its his official Coyote hunting gun and he thought that the blackness gave it to much glare so he camouflaged it.
Step 1
He Spray painted it all one color and made sure it dried completely.
Step 2
We went and picked several types of weeds, grass and tree branches and tested the outline on cardboard with spray paint. Then when he found one that he liked best then did it on just the end of his gun.
Then after he was happy with the look of the grass we covered the entire gun with the grass and I held down the grass as he lightly sprayed the gun.
The Result
An awesome Camo Gun. We only used 2 colors but we could have done more. It looks really Good.
