My New Hobby!

So I went to a baby shower and the mother was having her first girl after 3 boys so I thought now that she is going to have a girl she needs pink, bows, flowers, lace and frilly stuff. So I decided to make her some bows. Not thinking anything of it. But once everyone saw what I had made there were impressed. Now I think I am addicted, I love making bows! I don't think I am the best at it but I think I'm getting better. Here are just a few that I have done!

Weekend Full of Chocolate, Shopping and Mom!

Mom was finally able to get away and come to Rock Spings; we had a Blast! Of course we had to pamper ourselves with a pedicure but first we had to wear ourselves out by shopping. And who would of thought that Rock Springs' Little Mall could entertain us for so long, well it totally can as long as there is boots on Sale! It was wonderful catching up with each other and spending time together. I am so grateful she was able to come even though she had to sleep on the couch in our little apartment. I was able to show her our future home and she approves but did have to add in her two cents :) I would like to say I kept her busy but I think she is the one who kept me busy. We also went to the Chocolate Festival! Yes a place you go and eat all the chocolate you see, pretty much Heaven. It was too fun.
Im not sure Ty had as much fun and Mom and I did.
And there even was a chocolate fountain the best was the pineapple dipped in it.

Our Little Piece of Dirt

Ty and I never thought this would happen. Having a house is something we would do in the future when we are all grown up. Well I guess we are all grown up because we signed a contract to be house owners just last week. But right now its just our piece of dirt!
Before we even started looking for a house we were told several times that we needed to get approved first. So one day when Ty was off we drove to the bank only to find out it was Martin Luther King day. So instead we went the a Realtors office. She helped us figure out what we wanted but told us we really couldn't do anything tell we got approved. So she got on the phone with the Banker who came in on her day off and approved us. It was awesome, everything fell into place. So just like that we were on our way to finding the perfect house for us and our future family. It happened way faster than I thought but it was lot of fun. The next day we went looking for homes and by the end of the week we thought we found the house that was totally perfect for us. We loved the floor plan but we couldn't walk through it because it hasn't been built yet. So after picturing this one house, every other home I saw didn't compare so we decided to go for it and walk through the house when an already owned one became available to walk through. When we finally walked through the house I hated it. Certain things were different then I pictured which made me so disappointed and sad. But luckily we were still able to back out of it and keep looking. So after having my hopes and dreams crushed, we found a house that we love even more but way out of our price range. But I could totally see on Ty's face that this was the house that he wanted and I thought it was perfect too. So after a bit of good luck and talking to the builder we were able to get our Total Dream House for the perfect price with just a few minor changes.
The floor plan but we are flipping it.
So after about 3 weeks of house hunting we found just what we were looking for. Do I think it happened super fast and so unexpectedly? YES! But everything also worked out too perfectly to think that it is a wrong choice. Ty and I are so excited to move into the next step of our lives together.
So by the end of July, Ty and I will be living on Pronghorn Dr. and be happy owners of a Brand New Home.
