Camo Gun

Ty's project!
Ty's 223 Before
This is the way Ty bought his gun but he decided to change it just a little. Its his official Coyote hunting gun and he thought that the blackness gave it to much glare so he camouflaged it.
Step 1
He Spray painted it all one color and made sure it dried completely.
Step 2
We went and picked several types of weeds, grass and tree branches and tested the outline on cardboard with spray paint. Then when he found one that he liked best then did it on just the end of his gun.
Then after he was happy with the look of the grass we covered the entire gun with the grass and I held down the grass as he lightly sprayed the gun.
The Result
An awesome Camo Gun. We only used 2 colors but we could have done more. It looks really Good.

July Camping

My Brother Cody got my Great Grandparents 1978 Road Ranger Camper and offered it to us because he hardly used it so of course we totally wanted it. I am not much of a camper but Ty loves it and I think after our first camping trip I can get used to it. We named her Skeeter!

The Color is My favorite Part! jk It needs new curtains
She is a keeper

So the Camper is defiantly a fixer-upper. The water doesn't work or the AC. Something is wrong with it when we hook up the battery but The Fridge works wonderful and its a pretty comfortable bed. Its Pretty easy camping in it.
So on July 2,3& 4th  we went camping in North Canyon near Montpelier with Ty's Sister Amber and her family. Our camping spot was near a creek, the kids loved playing it so the Adults tried to play in it but the water was so cold I couldn't even stand in it for 1 min. We went on a hiking adventure and saw a woodpecker bird. We went on a picnic for lunch one day and as soon as the sun fell we were all around a camp fire roasting smores and making fun memories. We ate yummy dutch oven food. Ty's favorite part of camping is cooking in his dutch oven. We had the best rhubarb cobbler I think that is going to be my tradition while camping because it was so yummy.
I just have to say its nice to get away from our crazy lives and get out of range of cell phones to make memories of the simple things. I may have been dirty and sweating and smell but I had fun
Thanks Wayne and Amber for coming camping with us.

Golfing

For our first date we went golfing and we hadn't been since a full 2 years so we decided it was time to go. And it was so much fun. We took advantage of a day we both had off work. We both were a little nervous because it had been so long since we had hit a golf ball.

But once we started we got our grove back and we had a wonderful time. We Loved the time in the sun, we loved the time we spent together and I loved how I totally won by 3 points. Now we just can't wait to  go again.

Ty had to wash his ball after ever hole.

I Have the Hunting Fever!

Growing up I never even thought about hunting and when I did think about it I had no desire to even shoot a gun. But for Ty Hunting was his life growing up he loved hunting and knew every year he would go hunting with his dad. So Ty has been wanting to take me out to shoot Prairie Dogs and I was very willing to go but I really didn't think I would get anything. So one morning we packed up a lunch and headed off in the Truck into the sage brush desert. Driving along on the Highway we saw prairie dogs everywhere but as soon we got in the middle of no where we couldn't find them anywhere. A few would pop out here or there but I would always miss them. We moved on to another spot as we stopped in the truck one ran on to the dirt road so we quickly got out off the truck loaded the gun and from about 35ft away I got my first prairie dog.
So after my first Kill I just wanted to keep going I got 2 more that day and I can officially say I love to hunt. I hope I can get myself an elk or deer someday haha. Ty was so Proud!

Wyoming adventures!

With our new Mountain Truck we like to take little strolls throughout Rock Springs to learn the area better. Ty heard about Old Indian Writings carved into a mountain. We we stared out for an adventure. We had a picnic in the bed of our truck before walking about a mile to the mountain full of history. It was so cool to see how they drew different animals and it is amazing to me that all those lines caved into the side of the mountain is how they communicated and how they left there history for us to wonder and enjoy.

I am really starting to love it here in Wyoming it has so much history to learn. This place really does offer everything Ty and I need to live our lives out here.
